Encoding Notes:

  The first season was a real breeze - clean, nice Bandai source, quickly
  encoded and released, no problem at all. The second season however was
  a very nasty surprise for me. I thought "While working on more complicated
  stuff, let's keep the CPU busy and quickly release it. Hah.

  Big O Second season is the first anime I've encountered which is extreme
  in all directions at the same time. Now I know why nobody seemed to have
  encoded it yet. Overall, the source is VERY noisy, so it requires alot
  of filtering. The flashbacks are totally oversharpened, I had to use an
  unfilter(-25,-25) on it to tone it down to tolerable levels. At the
  same time, some of the "pondering" scenes are totally oversoftened and
  blurry, requiring drastic sharpening to dig out any contrasts at all.
  Mix all of this into a single episode, and you have the choice between
  doing nothing and screwing up all "extreme" parts, or to use ranged
  filtering and ALOT of work. Thanks to YATTA, I could do the latter.

  I'm still not very happy about the quality in the end, but at least
  it's watchable again. Hope you enjoy it!
