Just unrar the subpack into the same directory as the .dub.avi file and double-click on the .sub.avi file. *****If the above does not work, try the following****** First, download and install MicroDVD. Then: To view the file with subtitles, extract the contents of the sub pack and the tools pack into the same folder as your episode file. Note, the episode filename has to be the same as the idx, ifo, and sub filenames, with the exception of the extension. Load the DVobSub program by right clicking the .inf file, and choosing install. Open up the microdvd program, and click on the Quick-INI button. Thats the button in the top right corner of the control panel. Choose the episode file, and japanese mp3 track, but hit cancel on the subtitle file. Hit play, and it should play with japanese and subtitles. Note, you'll have to remove the subtitle files (At least one of them) or rename the episode file if you want to play the dubbed version again without subtitles. OGM File Instructions: This series contains our first release using the new OGM file format. With OGM we hope to eliminate the incompatibilities that plague VobSub and graphedit. Both audio tracks, and subtitles are all muxed into the video, and you are able to switch the audio and sub tracks on the fly in wmp 6.4 (7 and 8 soon to be supported). To be able to play these, go to http://tobias.everwicked.com/ and download the oggds filters as well as the subtitle filters, and install them. That should be all thats necessary. At the time of release, this method is only known to be fully supported by wmp 6.4, but as most people use it anyways, and the fact that it is under active development to become more universally supported, we felt that wasn't much of a problem. Windows Media Player 6.4 can be downloaded from the MS site and installed parallel to any other version of Media Player. Lastly, to switch tracks, use the Languages menu. Encoding Notes (4-6) : These eps were all encoded with SBC Nandub 1.0rc2. IVTC and deinterlacing were performed using AVISynth and the IVTC and Smart Deinterlacing plugins. Episode 4 had to be edited in order to fit all 3 episodes and subpacks w/ Japanese language tracks onto a 700mb CD. Sorry, for the incovenience. Encoding Notes (10-12) : Eps 10-11 was encoded using decomb's telecide, so as a result there was a bit of ghosting. more than I like really, but it's not so bad. I'll fix that problem in the next set of encodes. I'm also trying out a bunch of new filters that will hopefully clean up the source and maybe even stabilize the jitter. Well, heres hoping. Ep 12 was encoded using the IVTC 2.101 and Smart Deinterlacing plugins. Encoding Notes (13-15) : These episodes were encoded with gordian knot, decomb and headac3he. They were muxed into the new ogm (ogg) format, which allows for realtime switching of the languages and subtitles, all from inside the video. Also, since they're all muxed together, it makes it easier to burn and playback from dc, as well as distribute. We have the filters available for download at http://zhentarim.cjb.net/downloads.php, or you can get it from the author at http://tobias.everwicked.com/. Ogm doesn't influence the quality of the video at all, though since the audio is now vorbis, the quality has improved greatly. Encoding Notes (16-18) : These eps were all encoded with SBC Nandub 1.0rc2. IVTC and deinterlacing were performed using AVISynth and the IVTC v2.101 and Smart Deinterlacing plugins.
